Following our successful trip to Singapore, the Hanlin Amusement team returned to home soil for the Beijing Expo from July 15-17, 2023.

While international expos are about opening new doors, domestic exhibitions like Beijing are often the ultimate test of quality. Here, we compete directly with the best local manufacturers, so we knew we had to bring something special to the floor.

The “Bee” That Sparked a Conversation

Our booth this year featured a large, custom-designed “Little Bee” combined slide. It wasn’t just a decoration; it was a demonstration of our fiberglass molding and custom manufacturing capabilities.

A memorable moment occurred on the second day. A park operator stopped by our booth, not because he needed a bee theme, but because he was impressed by the finish of the product. He ran his hand along the slide’s curve and told us, “I’ve seen many renders that look good, but the actual product usually has rough seams. This is smooth.”

That simple physical interaction started a deep conversation about his own project—a forest-themed park that required complex, organic shapes. He realized that if we could build this bee with such precision, we could certainly handle his custom designs.

Quality You Can Touch

In the B2B amusement industry, trust is often built through touch. Throughout the three days, we sat down with dozens of clients who inspected the thickness of our materials and the safety of our structures.

We also had the pleasure of hosting international clients who flew in specifically for the expo. Seeing our products in person helped bridge the gap between digital blueprints and physical reality.

Continued Momentum

The Beijing Expo 2023 reinforced a key lesson for us: Details matter. Whether it’s the seamless joint of a slide or the durability of the paint, these are the things that ensure safety and fun for children.
